It's Fall Ya'll!

I love fall. The sights and sounds of leaves changing colors and then gently floating to the ground on a crisp breeze mesmerize me.  The rustling of those leaving racing and skittering across the ground is music to me.  The laughter and squeals of delight and fright rings out and dances in my mind with my own childhood memories of my beloved fall playground in the country.  This is my favorite time of year...

This is the perfect time to make memories with your family...memories that will last for generations and become the stuff of dreams and wisps of imagination...Hold on to those magical times.  Have some family portraits made.  Don't let these moments pass you by.

My Awesome sister

My sister...little blonde curls and mischievous green eyes...always in my stuff, my room and my heart.  I love her so much.  She has grown into an amazing woman.  I love you Cora Beth.  You are someone that inspires me to do more, because I can, to believe in myself, and I am so blessed to not only call you my sister, but my best friend as well.

I totally admire her.  She too is a photographer.  A very good one.  Her company is Gray.C Photography.  There are a thousand reasons I could write about her, but there is one special reason today.  She is making the jump.  Starting the process of opening her own studio and boutique.  Hopefully in a year, to be a full time photographer.  I am so proud of her.  I can't believe how brave she is.  Her space is still in the development stage, but it will be simply awesome when it is finished. Here is a little preview of the studio for Gray.C Photography and the boutique for The Styled Child.

Summer!!!!

It's gearing up to be a great summer 2014!  It's been quite a while since I have posted here so I will play a little catch up today.

Here are a few examples of what I have been working on lately....

Soft, Squishy, Newborn Sweetness!

I got to photograph my first newborn this weekend!  Baby Emily was so precious!  I love snuggling and getting to breathe in their sweet baby smell.  Hopefully I will get to do some more of these in the future.  I will be adding a newborn page here soon! 

Hunter Hayes!!!!

Hunter Hayes is such a cutie!  KVOO held a pre-voo private concert with Hunter at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill for a few lucky listerners and I got to be the photographer!  It was so much fun and I am so thankful for the opportunity!  Here is a link to the gallery with all of the photos!
